Captcha Using Mirror Fonts for Security against Ocr

CAPTCHA is standard for providing security for web services. It mainly used to avoid Denial-Of –Service attack. CAPTCHA Completely Automated Public Turing Test to Tell Computers and Humans Apart or it is designed to distinguish automatic bots and human. Many different CAPTCHA were introduced and it is in use. All the CAPTCHA have some disadvantage. Textbased CAPTCHA can be easily identified by OCR which was used by BOTS. So we proposed a new CAPTCHA which cannot be easily identified by those bots. Proposed CAPTCHA is Mirror CAPTCHA which is like Text-based CAPTCHA but it uses mirror font to pass a test. The CAPTCHA image consists of a word which is in Mirror fonts with added distortion and complex background. User have to type the corresponding fonts text into the given text box and have to click submit button. If they didn’t find correctly some other CAPTCHA will be generated. This proposed CAPTCHA will reduce OCR detection and give better human accuracy.
